Sweet Natalie's Bakery (chicago suburbs)

Today I walked around downtown Geneva (a suburb of Chicago) with my mom. We walked past cute shops and cafes, before stumbling upon Sweet Natalie's, Beyond A Bakery. 

Sweet Natalie's is exactly what it sells to be, a sweet surprise that goes beyond a traditional bakery with their gluten free goods along with some vegan options! 

When one thinks of gluten/dairy free baked goods, the first thing that comes to mind is something dry, dense, and a dessert that doesn't live up to the idea of what a dessert should be, but these baked goods lived up to that high standard. 

I ordered the vegan chocolate chip cookie and it was everything I hoped it would be. Sweet, chewy, rich, and a little bit salty to enhance and balance all the sweetness. 

Sweet Natalie's is a hidden gem with so much to offer from their baked desserts, made to order cakes, breads, and much more. With a gorgeous patio out front to enjoy the day, Sweet Natalie's is breath of fresh air.
