Vegan Garlic Parmesan Fries

Garlic Parmesan French Fries

(Serves 2)


-2 large potatoes

-1-2 cups of vegetable oil

-1/3 cup of grated vegan parmesan cheese

-1 teaspoon of garlic powder

-2 tablespoons of chopped parsley

-1 teaspoon of black pepper

-1/2 teaspoon of salt



In a large skillet, cover the pan in oil up to a ½ inch deep. Heat this oil on high until the oil spits when tested with a drop of water. While the oil is heating, cut the potatoes into steak fry strips. Carefully fry the potatoes for about 3 minutes on each side until they are lightly browned and crispy. Drain on a cooling rack lined with paper towels to catch any access oil. In a small bowl combine the grated cheese, garlic powder, parsley, pepper, and salt until mixed throughout. Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the draining fries while they’re still hot so the cheese melts a little and sticks to the fries. Serve hot with a delicious veggie burger or a roasted vegetable melt as pictured below!
